The business runs a global, regional and prestigious series of events to celebrate and recognise the best in the industry.
Due to a recent structural change, there was a need to recruit a Director to lead this hugely important brand on a global basis. The business wanted to appoint an individual who has both the commercial and strategic focus, as well as the event/marketing experience, to successfully further develop this exciting business, for it to become more globally recognised, both within the sector and outside of it.
Drayton Partners, following previous appointments made within the group, were retained to search both domestically and internationally to find the right calibre of person, who had both the experience and knowledge of this specific sector, as well as an understanding of the luxury end of the consumer goods market.
The successful candidate placed had both luxury goods experience in brand management, international experience, as well as a deep understanding and knowledge of the specific sector this brand/event was involved in, which was the optimum platform to come in and execute the strategy required. And being fluent in 3 languages was also a significant advantage for this global role.
