The Challenge

Drayton were thrilled to recently help secure a new leader for a well-respected and fast-paced European food manufacturing business entering an exciting growth phase in the UK. The UK business employs c500 people at two locations and were looking to significantly expand the capacity of its primary operation, as well as foster a culture of shared purpose and inclusivity across the business. Key to their successful appointment of this Operations leader was the confidence that the individual’s personality would complement those in the team they would be leading but also other members of the Exec.

Outcome

Drayton project-managed the delivery of both ability and personality testing with the short-listed candidates, which helped shape areas to explore at interview for both the client and the candidates. Psychometric testing is firmly established as an integral ingredient in a search mandate, especially when we partner with those leading clients that strive to truly understand the motivations of candidates.
