The 'B Corp' phenomenon - Spring Networking Dinner

Mark Cuddigan, MD at Ella's Kitchen, will share his insight in to the global phenomenon that is B Corp and their take on 21st century capitalism

The Drayton team are delighted to announce our forthcoming spring networking dinner. We are grateful for the support of Mark Cuddigan, Managing Director of Ella’s Kitchen, our guest speaker for the evening. The dinner is being held at the prestigious Marylebone Hotel in London on the 25th May 2017.

Mark brings a wealth of entrepreneurial, Consumer-sector experience - from The Dormen Food Company to Ella’s Kitchen, which he joined in 2011. Since then, the turnover of Ella’s has grown from $34m to $100m as the business launched over 100 new products and successfully entered multiple markets. In February 2016 Ella’s Kitchen certified as a B Corporation, becoming only the second company to do so whilst part of a PLC. The first being Ben & Jerry’s at Unilever.

Mark will share his insight in to the global phenomenon that is B Corp and their take on 21st century capitalism. He will help explain why businesses as diverse as Ben & Jerry’s, Patagonia, Lily’s Kitchen, JoJo Maman Bebe, Cook Trading, Divine Chocolate, and of course Ella’s Kitchen have battled so hard to achieve B Corp certification. In tandem with this, he will chart the journey of Ella’s Kitchen, highlighting the challenges and opportunities for a truly purpose-driven business and brand.

The Drayton team will be joined by senior Consumer-sector leaders and influencers, as well as some of our partners from the private equity arena, for what will be an informative and focussed networking event.
