He has extensive leadership experience and was most recently Chief Operating Officer of Lily's Kitchen, a premium pet food brand. Prior to this he was Chief Executive Officer of Germains Seed Technology, an agricultural technology division of Associated British Foods plc. John Sach, Walker Greenbank's Chief Executive, commented:

"I'm delighted to welcome Paul Mullan to Walker Greenbank in the newly created role of Managing Director of Manufacturing. Paul brings a wealth of manufacturing and operational experience along with a focus on customer service, all of which has been gained at a wide range of manufacturing businesses. Manufacturing, both for Walker Greenbank's own brands and for third parties, is a central part of our business and I look forward to Paul's input in driving its growth."

Drayton Partners led a comprehensive search process across the UK consumer industry and were keen to identify an individual with extensive operational leadership experience coupled with true General Management leadership.

Ian Pickett, Director at Drayton Partners, commented:

"Walker Greenbank is a fantastic organisation with some truly great brands. The Manufacturing MD role provided a unique opportunity to join the business in a highly autonomous position. Naturally, there was a very strong interest in the role and this created a very competitive process. In Paul, Walker Greenbank have recruited the skills of a highly capable leader who will support their manufacturing business in both operational and strategic delivery. We look forward to seeing the success they have together."
