Drayton's Autumn 2018 Networking event - "How sport is learning from business and delivering performance improvements"...

Much like our previous networking events, our chosen theme for the evening is “How sport is learning from business and delivering performance improvements”

This September, the Drayton team are delighted to host our first London networking dinner of the Autumn / Winter Season with guest speaker Stewart Regan, former CEO at the Scottish FA. Stewart brings significant and broad experience, with a wealth of knowledge following an impressive and diverse career history. Stewart’s career highlights prior to the SFA include; CEO at The Yorkshire County Cricket Club, Director of the English Football League Championship, Director of Strategic Planning at Coors and Sales Managing Director of Bass Brewers.

Now, Stewart focuses his time on his consultancy business Ascend Global Consulting Ltd, advising and guiding clients (primarily in the sports and sports-related industries) on strategy development, corporate governance, talent development & performance planning for elite athletes and the creation of grassroots programmes designed to build sustainable participation.

Much like our previous networking events, our chosen theme for the evening is “How sport is learning from business and delivering performance improvements”.

Stewart will deliver a short presentation with guests, highlighting personal examples of this such as how following his appointment with the SFA, and receiving a brief to lead the organisation through a programme of change and modernisation, he implemented a 5-year strategic plan with four key pillars for the Scottish F.A - To perform & win; To deliver strong quality growth; To deliver better financial returns; To be respected & trusted to lead.

The floor will then be opened for discussion and debate, with the opportunity to speak with Stewart directly, along with members of the Drayton team, and fellow guests.

The event takes place on Thursday 13th September at London's Marylebone Hotel
