The Role
Reporting into the CEO, the COO will have significant responsibility to drive a robust strategy of continuous improvement, centred around production, supply planning, purchasing and factory-based quality management, driving operational excellence across the business and forging alignment across all of Birkenstock’s manufacturing facilities.
The Person
They are seeking an experienced hands-on leader, someone who is already a proven operator in the footwear industry. Ideally, they might offer a career background in a business with at least the vestiges of being privately owned, albeit with great complexity and a contemporary approach. It is essential that they have the capability to operate as a key player at General Management level, bringing challenge, rigour and pace to the team.
