Reporting to the CEO, the Ecommerce Director will be responsible for leading on the omnichannel strategy to unify the customer journey across physical stores and digital sales channels.

The incoming Ecommerce Director will be a seasoned digital operator with extensive experience in e-commerce and commercial functions within a retail environment, preferably in fashion or closely related categories.

Key Experiences:

Leadership: An experienced and effective leader, with a proven ability to successfully manage stakeholders. Provides strategic guidance and oversight to the rest of the team, ensuring that the department is well-positioned to achieve its objectives.

Comparable Business Environment: Excellent track record in overseeing delivery against ambitious growth targets in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrates deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities that come with working cross-functionally, and the ability to navigate these to drive successful outcomes.

Commercial Exposure: A comprehensive level of experience managing retail operations, including store operations, third-party distributors, e-commerce etc., The individual will need at least 10 years of experience developing best-in-class sales functions for businesses of a similar size with a similar product portfolio.

Excellent Communicator: Superb communication skills that enable the individual to get buy-in from a team, manage pressures and setbacks well and push the team to execute excellence across the business with a ‘sleeves rolled up’ mentality.
