Global Category Manager for a leading supplier of technical outerwear

With the proposed expansion and growth plans, our client is needing to appoint a Global Category Manager, to drive the commercial and Go To Market plans for their global baselayer business, working closely with the category management team across other sectors to ensure a highly competitive, innovative and commercial range is launched on a seasonal basis

Location; Scandinavia

Salary: Strong and competitive salary/package + relocation if required

The Role

Lead and drive the Baselayer/Midlayer categories across each of the brands core product segment, to merchandise and tie in with other areas of the product collection, to meet/exceed to the companies commercial objectives on a regional and global basis

The Candidate

  • 5+ years of direct competitive experience within the performance/outdoor sector in a product/category management role
  • Extensive international experience and a track record of delivering growth and meeting commercial objectives
  • Consumer focused, both from an elite level to general use
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong cross functional operator within the product creation and go to market teams
