Our client is a privately owned supplier of whole food and ingredient products which it provides to a broad client base. The organisation is now looking for a strong Group Financial Controller who will in time, be capable of succeeding the current CFO.

The Role
The Group Financial Controller will work closely with the CFO to develop and execute strategic plans for the business. They will manage a high performing finance function consisting of ~20 individuals across a direct team of four: Purchase Ledger Manager, Credit Control Manager, Commercial Manager and Finance Manager.
As well as internal stakeholders, the FC will need to manage external relationships with insurers, banks, auditors and HMRC.
It’s vital that the FC can form strong relationships within the business across the adjacent functions in order to help best support the senior management team and wider organisation.
The Profile
We are in search of a talented, energetic and dynamic finance professional. The Group Financial Controller will need to be a strong leader and adept at working with pace and rigour.
Ideally, the successful candidate will have worked in an international business with a fast-paced environment which manages high volumes of daily transactions.
This is a critical role for the organisation, with the need for a high performing individual heightened by the constantly evolving, complex nature of the company.
