THE ROLE
Key elements of the role will include:

- Ensure the strategic plan is converted into deliverable category plans which include service level agreements, purchase mechanisms and supplier selection.
- Oversee all aspects of central procurement covering ingredients, packaging and indirects.
- Build, develop and, most importantly, provide leadership to a large procurement function ensuring that individuals are supported and challenged in equal measure.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation to ensure buy-in to newly created systems and processes.
- Establish senior-level relationships with key strategic suppliers.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

- Recognised within their peer group as an outstanding and high impact leader.
- Track record of facilitating positive cultural shifts and building, focusing and inspiring high achieving teams.
- Proven expertise in, and exposure to, complex change programmes.
- History of expert internal and external stakeholder management and a track record of hands-on delivery as a strategic business partner.
- Able to harness, and accelerate, the momentum within a period of dynamic change – acting as a guiding light for the procurement function, but also the wider business.
- Possess the gravitas to operate in a senior role and will be confident, assertive, a team player and someone with excellent numerical and verbal skills.
- Advocate and intrinsic supporter of the organisation’s ambitious sustainability agenda, in which Procurement plays a central role.
