International Sales Manager

The Role It's an exciting opportunity to lead the International Sales activity for the company, identifying where the strongest opportunities exist and then building new business in global markets through structured brand and sales development.

Currently the company have excellent growth in the UK and are in strong position to continue their expansion, but have yet to fully explore international markets and the potential revenue that could be delivered by taking their brand overseas.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the role holder will identify, build and nurture strong long-lasting commercial relationships with customers and their partners in global markets. It's vital that international growth remains aligned with the existing brand positioning and commercial strategy of the UK market.

The Person We’re seeking an established International Sales specialist, someone who has successfully taken FMCG brands into global retail channels through building exceptional relationships with local market customers and distributors. Key skills must include:

  • Global Sales experience in FMCG.
  • A track record of successfully launching and evolving brands in international markets.
  • A brand builder who can ensure long term, profitable sales growth.
  • Strong relationship skills and ability to adapt style.
  • Excellent negotiating and financial skills.
  • Able to work with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Strategic thinking and perspective.
  • Positive, resilient and passionate about FMCG brands.
