The Role

Emmi are seeking a National Account Manager to lead their business in the grocery and convenience channel.

Reporting to the Sales Controller the role will involve heading up commercial activity with key customer accounts and managing the relationships with retailer Buying teams at head office level.

The exact account portfolio can be shaped to fit the strengths and experience of the successful candidate.

Areas of focus will include:

  • Full P&L ownership for the accounts
  • Building collaborative relationships with high profile retailers
  • Creating and delivering annual business plans
  • Negotiating trading terms
  • Delivering NPD launches

The business is seeking to recruit a high calibre person who has the potential to develop their career at Emmi and play an integral role in the continued success of their commercial activity in the UK.

The Person

The ideal candidate will currently be in a National Accounts sales role within UK FMCG. Key experience will include:

  • A successful track record working as a NAM or SNAM in UK FMCG Sales
  • Highly commercial, with a broad industry outlook
  • Proven negotiation and influencing skills
  • Customer focused, balanced with the needs of the business
  • Passionate about food and drink brands
  • Self-motivated and results orientated
  • Engaging and energetic, able to deliver positive change
  • Based within range of Emmi HQ in Putney, or able to relocate
