Already well established in neighbouring markets, this appointment represents a step-change for the way our clients business operates in the UK. A significant invest plan is being rolled out right now. This includes opening a new and vibrant office in Birmingham from which the commercial teams and support functions will be based.
We are looking for a Sales Director with a strong sence of purpose and desire to lead a team ambitious to disrupt the traditional snacking market. This will focus on taste and well as health benefits for consumers.
The role will report into the Managing Director (GB) and will lead of team of seven channel/customer managers. The ideal background for this role is someone who has FMCG experience, focused on the grocers (ideally with an uderstanding of other RTM's), who is currently managing a similar sized commercial team. Personal development in this role will come from delivering a stand-out brand growth plan and building a market leading team/business.
Skills & Experience requirements include:
- 10+ years within FMCG Sales
- Degree in Business Studies or revelant discipline
- Experience of leading FMCG sales teams
- Key grocery retailer network and relationships
- Strategic leadership experience
- Expert knowledge of the fast moving consumer good sector
- Epert level planning and budgetary
