From its entrepreneurial beginnings, 12 years ago, our client established a deserved reputation as a pioneer brand in the Direct to Consumer/eCommerce space. Their award-winning success in D2C then served as a platform, in tandem with the growing demand for healthier snacking options, for an expansion into the grocery, convenience, and foodservice channels (UK and international markets).
The business continued to deliver outstanding commercial success and, critically importantly to the team, this has been achieved in parallel with their sustainability objectives. The potential is there to go so much further on both fronts in the short & longer term and this appointment will be key.
They are seeking an outstanding, ambitious leader who will aggressively drive the commercial agenda, whilst also nurturing and developing the high potential sales team. A natural self-starter, the individual will leverage their open and energetic communication style, acting as a catalyst for even an greater drive for success across the wider business.

The role will report into the CEO and be a leading member of the cross functional Exec team. A strong track record of delivering sustainable growth in UK retail and ability to contribute on strategy and operations beyond your function is something that would enhance your chances of success within the process.
Skills & Experience requirements include:
- 10+ years within FMCG
- Degree in Business Studies or relevant discipline
- Experience of leading FMCG sales teams
- Key grocery retailer network and relationships
- Strategic leadership experience
- Expert knowledge of the fast-moving consumer goods sector
- Expert level planning and budgetary management
