Sales Manager (Scotland) - Brewers and Distillers

As a market leading ingredients supplier to the drinks industry, Our client is seeking to capitalise on the recent years of unprecedented growth within growth of Craft Gin, Beer and Whiskey producers.

The Role:

  • As the Sales Manager for the North & Scotland you will be the ambassador and market expert within that region. This is a very autonomous role which provides the opportunity to develop your own approach to winning new business and delivering the best possible customer service.
  • Reporting into the Sales Director, you will be responsible for delivering on sales, profit, investment and margin targets through pricing management.
  • The role offers the opportunity to work in partnership with the rich variety of manufacturers (gin, whiskey, beer etc.) across the region. The vision is that the successful individual will build long-term partnerships, becoming an integral part of the success of industry through quality, service and innovation.

The Person

We are seeking to recruit a passionate, energetic and astute Sales Manager. This individual will play an integral role in the continued success and growth of the company.

The individual must be able to offer:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in the brewing/distilling arena.
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of the food & drink sector, and ideally, existing relationships within the brewing & distilling category.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, to work effectively with customer contacts, able to build on existing and form new professional relationships.
  • A naturally co-operative style, able to work as a key member of the multi-functional senior management team.
  • Commercial acuity and acumen with a problem solving approach. The intellect that ensures he or she can intelligently ‘sell’ the technical aspects and quality attributes of my client’s proposition.
