Supply Chain Manager for successful business within the spirits industry

Our client is an incredibly successful business within the spirits industry with a number of global leading brands across prestige, single malt as well as own label brands working closely with all grocery channels.

In order to get closer to their customers and create a more efficient supply chain our client is recruiting a Supply Chain Manager to manage the process of ‘orders in’ and ‘orders out’. As a pragmatic business the ideal candidate is capable of ‘rolling up their sleeves’ to get things done, whilst they will manage a team they will need to lead by example. With the appointment of this role capability will be added to customer service and movement (warehouse and distribution), however it is envisaged the ideal candidate will have a breadth of expertise across Supply Chain.

As the business is evolving they are keen to professionalise, developing business wide KPI’s and foster improved relationships both internally and externally. With the focus on creating stronger internal partnerships, the successful candidate will act as an ambassador for supply chain, working more effectively with the Commercial and Manufacturing organisations.

The successful candidate will have managed a team previously within a well-established Supply Chain function and can demonstrate delivering improvements.

The ideal candidate will relish being visible and accessible and be motivated to professionalise ways of working. With a large percentage of international customers having a familiarity to HMRC compliance is a distinct advantage.
