With the financial backing of an established PE firm, the business is looking to increase revenues through a transition to a more sophisticated omnichannel approach. The Operations Director will be a key enabler of the long-term plan and will be at the heart of the organisation during a period of exciting change.

The Role
Reporting to the CEO, the Operations Director will be responsible for the end-to-end supply chain and will lead strategic initiatives to develop systems, processes and people. The team are ambitious and keen to see the business succeed and the Operations Director will need to mentor individuals as the business expands and develops. The business is complex so areas such as planning, logistics, customer service and purchasing are frequently placed under pressure to meet the needs of the customer. The Operations Director will be instrumental in finding solutions that more effectively meet this customer demand whilst also providing a futureproof approach to meet the changing dynamic of the marketplace.
The Person
The ideal candidate will be an experienced supply chain professional with experience of a fast-paced, energetic and innovative business. They will be ambitious, driven, committed, with strong intellect and insight. They will have a positive attitude and creative approach to problem solving. In addition, and importantly, they will be able to adapt between rolling their sleeves up and getting involved with day-to-day activity whilst also being able to step back to evaluate longer term opportunities.
